Our school is located in Minmi, about 20 minutes from Newcastle, NSW, Australia. We are a small school with 5 permanent teaching staff, one full-time Senior School Assistant one part time School Assistant and a range of casual staff. At present we have 121 students at our school.

The school community at Minmi Public School will work together to ensure that each child  has the opportunity to use and develop his/her abilities in a warm, caring and supportive environment. Through education the children will develop the skills that allow for a life-long enjoyment of learning. Each child will have the confidence to experiment, will strive to achieve and will take pride in his/her achievement.
